Four Rooms

One hotel, four rooms, four stories by four directors Allison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino (in this order).  I found this movie when I was looking for the complete list of my favourite director QT’s works.

First of the stories, “Missing Ingredient” is quite not at the level of the three other stories, but after it the movie gets more interesting and seeing “The Wrong Man” and “Misbehaviours” is preparing viewers for the grande finale – “The Man from Hollywood”. The last story is fireworks of rapid dialogue oversaturated with the f-word. Also worth mentioning is the long take, which is considered as a QT trademark. Attention has been paid to audiovisual experience and it is not too “artistic”, but instead a little “rough”.

Overall a good movie in my opinion, I gave it 3 stars out of five. If you like other QT or Robert Rodriguez movies you probably will like this one also.
